The 4th Annual MCS Fun Run was held on March 24th, 2011. All of our students, from Toddlers through Middle School, did an incredible job and had a great time raising money for a good cause. We are so excited to announce a new record! The children raised over $8,300 in pledges for two of their Service Learning Programs: The Navajo Adopt a Native Elder Program and the Children of Ethiopia Education Fund, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to our sponsorship of 7 Ethiopian girls through COEEF and to our 3 adopted Grandmothers through the Adopt a Native Elder Program. Thank you to all of the volunteers who assisted with this fun event, and also to the MCS Community for your generous support! We are so proud of all of the students for their enthusiasm and efforts to raise pledges for these valuable programs!
