Early Childhood Art/Music/Dance Showcase
The music, dance, art teachers and students worked very hard on their tiles and performance pieces and we were excited to see them last Thursday and Friday. The Blue and Green classes sang songs and performed dances with a zoo theme, and the Purple and Red classes sang songs and performed dances with a circus theme. The Art Showcase displayed every tile the Early Childhood students created for the Tile Mural Project. Our whole school, every student and staff member, is working on a tile, which will be a part of a mural that will be permanently installed in the garden on 1700 South. Our intent is to show the multi-cultural background of our school. Students have done a wonderful job depicting places such as Utah, Arizona, Vermont, NYC, Japan, Austrailia, Ireland, Germany, Russia, Belgium, and France, to name a few. The mural will be installed outside sometime in May. Thank you to Miss Nell, Miss Laura, and Miss Kindra for all your hard work in planning and preparation!
