"Last Friday, Sage and I were at a friend's home to have dinner and watch a movie outdoors. A woman in her 60's showed up who Sage has never met. Sage was across the room but heard her say her name was Bonnie. Sage got up, walked over to the woman, puts her hand out to shake and said, "Hi, my name is Sage and I wanted to introduce myself and tell you my teacher's name is Bonnie also". I was sooooo proud of her manners. That is so important to me and I've never seen her have such confidence and manners at the same time without being coaxed. This is one of the reasons I love the Montessori, making a well-rounded person as well as teaching manners and courteous greetings to others." - Dana Williamson, mother of Sage in the Lower Elementary class
